Who we are
Windrush is a self-catering property in Hogsback, Eastern Cape, owned by Geneva and Darrin Buttner and looked after by Fred and Debbie.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your booking or enquiry details: dates, number of guests, bed set-up and anything you tell us in your message.
- Whether you agreed to hear from us with news and specials, and when you agreed.
We do not take card details on this website.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to manage your booking and stay.
- To contact you about your stay, such as directions and arrival.
- To send you news, specials and snow alerts, only if you ticked the box to say yes.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed, with the services that help us run Windrush:
- NightsBridge, the booking system that holds our bookings.
- Our payment provider, to process payments.
- WhatsApp, if you contact us or send an enquiry through it.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser contacts Google to load them.
We do not sell your information.
Marketing
We send you news, specials and snow alerts only if you say yes. The tick box is never ticked for you. We keep a record of when and how you agreed, and every message has a link to unsubscribe. You can also tell us to stop at any time.
How long we keep it
Ask us how long we keep your information.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to us using it, and withdraw your consent for marketing at any time. Message us and we will deal with your request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to South Africa's Information Regulator.
